Home to the dog, the cat, and reading an outdoor-sports magazine from the goodie bag given to the volunteers. (This year's goodie bag was pretty amusing - the coupon offerings were quite good (Noshville, Borders and others) and there was a toy racecar which will go to either the BYM or my nephew.) I ate the last of the asparagus with butter and garlic I'd made last night, along with some smoked salmon, onion and cream cheese on sunflower bread. I brewed a mug of "orangeberry spice" tea, took it with Lillian Ross' Here but Not Here to the sofa, and fell asleep.
