Bad: a misplaced VISA card. Allergies. The head of lettuce I remembered to bring home from the office fridge - and then forgot about until I lifted it from my tote bag a few minutes ago (ick).

Good: an invitation to sing a duet. Dinner with N and B - biscuits, cornbread, garlicky collards, and slow-cooked beans with Frank's Hot Sauce, washed down with lots of beer and merlot. Brigitte Balleys's rendition of Le spectre de la rose on the car stereo, the BYM's head on my shoulder as I drove us home.
